Naum Akhiezer (1901–1980)
Naum Akhiezer (1901–1980) was an outstanding Ukrainian mathematician whose contributions to approximation theory, functional analysis, and mathematical physics earned him worldwide recognition. Beyond his scientific achievements, he was a devoted educator and humanist who believed in the transformative power of knowledge.
